Boston Chapter Needs Your Input

Following a very successful Bon Voyage party, I, Anna Sabasteanski. sat down with Travis Jacobs to talk about how to re-engage Boston area alumni. We have pages and pages of great ideas! We will begin sharing these with you each month, but most importantly want to hear from you.

What do YOU want from the Boston AFLSE Chapter?

Watering Whole Wednesdays Are Gone

Here is your first momentous decision!

The monthly meetings at the 21st Amendment have been sparsely attended, and we would like to replace them with a monthly roundtable. This would be held in the Legal Seafood Winecellar, where we can sit round the table with drinks and nibbles. In addition to networking, we want to bring in a guest speaker. This could be an a member with an interesting idea or an invited executive addressing a topical issue. Is this of interest? Is this a good location? Are invited guests a good idea, or do you want to keep it to yourself? Would you like to lead a conversation or present an idea or achievement to the group? Is 6 pm a good time?

LET US KNOW WHAT YOU WANT!

Need Your Help

* The British Consulate would like to collaborate with us on a Big Event. What are your ideas for a good Transatlantic Bash?
* We are soliciting members interested in being part of a steering committee. Just thing of the power you could wield!
* We want to more actively recruit from new LSE students from local schools. Any suggestions?

British Consulate event to wish Bon Voyage to New Students
LSE alumni and friends joined together at a Bon Voyage Reception to meet and greet new students before they travel to London. It was a great chance for LSE alumni to share their experiences of living and studying in London with new students.
