Alternative plans for NY Philharmonic Concert in the Park due to rain
Dear Reader,
Regrettably, tonight's concert by the NY Philharmonic has been cancelled due to a forecast of inclement weather. We will, though, still meet this evening from 7:00pm at the Dead Poet at 450 Amsterdam (between West 81st and West 82nd St). We hope to see you there!
And just a reminder, our annual Bon Voyage party for incoming students will take place August 7 from 6pm to 9pm at the Croton Resevoir Tavern (180 West 40th St). The Bon Voyage is an opportunity to pass along your best tips about life in London and share LSE stories with incoming students and alumns alike.
We will have our regular First Monday and Third Thursday in July and August as well. We hope to see you August 4 at our regular First Monday event on the second floor of the Playwright Tavern from 7:00pm (49th St between 7th Ave and Broadway) and at Third Thursday on July 17 and August 21 at Parlor (286 Spring St) from 7:00pm.
With best regards,
AFLSE NY Chapter leaders
