Coming up we have the most important event of our social calendar - the Bon Voyage Party for incoming LSE students. It is on August 17 at 1pm at Ye Old Kings Head in Santa Monica. This is a fabulous opportunity to meet with your fellow alums and share tales and tips about LSE with the newbies. See below for tickets. Our extra special guest this year is Chris Yates, who is the incoming head of Overseas Development and Alum Relations. Chris will be joining LSE from USC. As you know, USC is well-known for having the magic touch in the alum relations field and we hope to learn a lot from this new team member. Come and ask Chris about his new plans. With Chris and also Director Craig Calhoun (another USC alum) at the helm, LSE/So Cal relations have never been stronger. This is great news for our chapter.
In September, there will be a one day conference on Creative Financing in Real Estate taking place in Los Angeles. LSE has been asked to find a panel speaker. Please contact us if you are interested in this opportunity - losangeles@aflse.org . We will have a booth at the conference - if you are in this field professionally, let us know so we can put out some of your promotional materials and find out how you can participate.
Whatever events you are interested in organizing, please let us know so that we can spread the word.
