RECENT EVENTS
More than 40 students and alums braved the elements (gale force winds and rains) to attend the Bon Voyage party at Fado in August. Students shared plans and made contacts, and everyone swapped stories over drinks and nibblies until after 8:30 pm. Despite the weather's best efforts, we had our best turn-out ever! Thanks to everyone who risked life and limb to attend.
JOB/NETWORKING
One of our fellow LSE grads is moving back to Chicago and wants to network in the publishing industry. Can you lend a hand?
"LSE alumna, MSc Nationalism & Ethnicity, 2005, seeking to network with publishing professionals in Chicago
After two years of work experience in London, most recently as house editor for a boutique publishing company, I am planning a move back to the Midwest. I would like to connect with anyone working in publishing (book, magazine, web) in the Chicago area to learn about potenital employers and how to revise my resume for the Chicago market."
If interested, please contact Kristin Lingren (klingren@mandellmenkes.com), who will put you in touch with the alumna. Please put "LSE Publishing Industry" in the subject line.
