AFLSE NYC - First Monday tomorrow night (5/6), special talk (5/16) and Met Museum tour (5/31)

Dear Reader,

We hope to see you tomorrow night at our regular 'First Monday' event at the Playwright Tavern from 7pm (49th St between 7th Ave and Broadway) and at Third Thursday on 5/16 at the new venue, Parlor (286 Spring St) from 7:00pm.

We are pleased to host two special events this month, a talk, Restless Empire: China and the World Since 1750, by Professor Odd Arne Westad at 6pm on Thursday May 16 (details below), and a tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and drinks on the rooftop on May Friday May 31 (details to follow).
