AFLSE DC Chapter April Newsletter

The AFLSE DC Chapter has several events and affiliate group events coming up in April!
The AFLSE DC Chapter monthly happy hour will be held on Tuesday, April 16th, from 6:00 to 9:00 at Vapiano in Dupont Circle - 1800 M Street NW. This is a great opportunity for AFLSE members and their friends to interact in a fun, informal setting. No RSVP required. Signs will show you were the AFLSE group is.
The AFLSE DC Chapter will be hosting AFLSE Alumni Michael Lyon for a Presentation on his recent book--Bicycling along Europe's Rivers. This event will be held on Thursday, April 11th, from 6:30-8:00 at Veneble Law firm office, 575 7th Street NW. This event is free for AFLSE members and guests, and $10 for all others. The Edinburgh University Alumni Club will be holding a Tartan Ball on April 5th, 2013. AFLSE members are welcome to attend, and should find additional information and registration online here: http://edinburghuniversityalumnitartanb.weebly.com/
The English Speaking Union has invited AFLSE members to attend to hear Michael Witmore, Director of the Folger Shakespeare Library, speak on Learning to Love Shakespeare on Tuesday, April 16th.
