The Ivy Plus Society (TIPS): "As the calendar pushes us head-on towards the cold-spiced winds of winter, we take a few days to honor the sacrifices many plump turkeys are making across the nation. But before you stuff yourself to the ears with birds trimmed, basted and baked, come out to The Grid, where warm conversation is a subtle substitute for the crackling hearth of home."

"Newly opened, The Grid is poised to help us celebrate our one year anniversary in Chicago. That's right! We've been TIPS-ing, toasting and gathering hoards of brainy bacchanalians for 12 months now! In honor of our first year of Ivy+ revelry in Chicago, guests will recieve complimentary appetizers."

"The Grid has sophisticated bar food with items such as duck fat cheddar pop corn, pad thai-flavored peanuts and foie mousse with grilled brioche."

To celebrate the season, there will be complimentary appetizers and snacks for all guests.

There will be $3 beer specials and $5 cocktail specials for the evening.

*When you register for the event, print out your confirmation screen and use that as your ticket into the event. This will ensure you can breeze through check-in and avoid any guest list or PayPal snafus. 

*TIPS will have a guest list at the door as back-up in case you forget your confirmation print-out.

*If you buy tickets for guests, they should check-in as your +1s under your name at the door.

*Advance Registration will be open through noon on the day of the event (or until the event sell-out, which ever happens first).
