AFLSE NYC November newsletter - First Monday/Guy Fawkes Day tonight from 7pm, Third Thursday Nov 15

Dear Reader,

First, I hope this email finds you and your family safe following Hurricane Sandy. The AFLSE New York City Chapter's leaders' thoughts are with those of you who have suffered injury or property damage.

In an attempt to resume life and activity following the devastating storm, the Chapter has decided to continue its regularly scheduled monthly social events, the next of which is tonight's First Monday, at the Playwright Tavern in midtown.

And if today's date of November 5 sounds familiar, you may have successfully "remembered, remembered the Fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot"! Guy Fawkes Day coincides with the date of this month's First Monday so it promises to be a particularly memorable evening.

We hope you will join us tonight on the second floor at the Playwright Tavern from 7pm (49th St between 7th Ave and Broadway) and at Third Thursday on November 15 at Delmonico's (56 Beaver St) from 6:30pm
