Our So. Cal. cohort of incoming LSE students will be celebrating their new academic life on Sunday August 5. Please join us for a lovely evening, wishing them well and giving our hard-earned advice about life at the alma mater. See details below.
Elizabeth (your co-chair) walked through Central London the evening before the Olympics started - the atmosphere was electric, an entire world partying. To borrow from the great poet - Twas bliss then to be alive, but to be young was very heaven - The Los Angeles Chapter of AFLSE wishes the new students, whether young or young-at-heart, all the very best for their upcoming studies. London is an amazing city. How lucky you are to become part of its dynamic heart! We also send our warmest best wishes to incoming LSE Director Craig Calhoun and look forward to seeing him next time he graces our Celluloid City.
But wait, there's more - for those who feel like dashing around town, we have two mixers on Tuesday evening - with our other MBA friends and also with the British American Business Council - and look forward to seeing you at one or both!
