AFLSE August Events for Alumni and New Students
Dear Reader,
The AFLSE Annual Bon Voyage programme for alumni and students was successfully launched, with events in Boston and Washington, DC at the end of July, both attended by more than 60 people. The programme continues in August in New York City, San Francisco, South Florida, Philadelphia, Houston, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and Cleveland (see below). These popular get-togethers enable students, en route to study at the LSE, to socialize with alumni who have already lived and studied in London, and to meet and network with others about to embark on the same experience. The events range from a reception at the residence of the British Consul General in Los Angeles, to "happy hours" in Chicago, Denver, Houston, New York, and San Francisco, and barbecues at the homes of alumni in Philadelphia and Cleveland. In South Florida, you will have the chance to meet the LSE Alumni Relations team, hosts of the event.
