Events with Incoming Director and other LSE visitors
Dear Reader,
We are thrilled announce an event for incoming LSE Director Craig Calhoun on February 29 at the Saban Theater. Please see below for exact details and sign up for tickets (which include open bar and appetizers). Bring your friends and co-workers to this unique opportunity to meet and greet Professor Calhoun, as well as LSE alums and friends from around Southern California. This will certainly be the highlight of our calendar for 2012. We are so grateful for support from the LSE for organising this fantastic mixer.
On Thursday February 9, the North American Liaison from LSE will be in town and attending a networking mixer hosted by the British American Business Council. We strongly encourage you to attend so that she can meet as many alums as possible. It will take place at the elegant Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. The cream of British Society in Southern California will be there to meet and greet. Like our own AFLSE chapter, this is a convivial and supportive group, with much fun to be had, as well as great business connections.
