The Council of LSE published the Lord Woolf Inquiry into LSE links with Libya. It also announced the results of an inquiry by the University of London into alleged academic misconduct by Saif Gaddafi.

Last year was a record-breaking year for the LSE Annual Fund. Thirty-one percent of the fund was donated by North Americans through the Centennial Fund.
