The LSE has partnered with the Embassy of Spain to the United States to host a talk with LSE Professor Michael Bruter, Associate Vice President of Research, Director of the Electoral Psychology Observatory, and Professor of Political Science, and Spanish Deputy Chief of Mission Guillermo Corral van Damme, to discuss democracy in the context of the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 50th anniversary of the fall of fascism in Spain. This discussion will be moderated by Kerrie Holland, LSE's Director of Alumni Engagement and Individual Giving.

This is an opportunity to hear about the LSE's latest research, integral to university's Shape the World strategy, and learn about how democracy continues to be a key domestic and foreign policy goal for our international partners. Attendees will have a chance to network prior to the start of the formal event around 6:30PM.
