Purrfect Match Valentine's Cat Adoptathon

We’re looking for big-hearted volunteers to help bring a little extra love into the world this February.

As part of the London School of Economics’ Global Day of Volunteering, the AFLSE San Diego Chapter is partnering with The Cat Lounge Rescue and Adoption Center to host a playful and heart-warming Purrfect Match Valentine’s Cat Adoptathon, and we’d love for you to join us as Cupid’s Helpers.

As Cupid’s Helpers, alumni will support light tasks such as greeting visitors, helping with “speed-dating” introductions to adoptable cats, sharing event info, and spreading the Valentine’s cheer that helps cats find their forever families.

No previous shelter or volunteer experience needed - just kindness, enthusiasm, and perhaps a fondness for felines. =^.^=

If you’d like to volunteer, please RSVP to this event, and we’ll follow up with details. If you have any questions about the event, you may email us at sandiego@aflse.org.

Let’s make this Valentine’s Day a little brighter, and help more cats (and humans) find love while making a tangible contribution to a more sustainable city and to the wellbeing of both animals and people.

Hosted by LSE Alumni, Amanda Toombs (MSc Social Policy) and May Meere (MSc Behavioural Science).
