About Mike Amity
As a Senior Policy Analyst for the Middle East, North Africa and South and Central Asia at the Washington Office of the Open Society Institute, Amitay serves as a liaison between the OSI's network in these regions and the international policy community. From 1996 until 2005, he served as Executive Director of the Washington Kurdish Institute. Prior to that he worked for the US Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe.
Amitay earned his B.A. from Brown University (1985) and an M.A. in International History from the LSE (1987).
This event is the first organized by the AFLSE Intergovernmental Organizations Special Interest Group.
