AFLSE New York City: LSE Seven O'clock Club

Our July "First Monday" event is being held July 8th with a special guest...

Future World Order: A Book Talk with LSE MSc/PhD Alum Maha Aziz

Come hear LSE alum, LSE IGA visiting fellow and NYU Professor Dr Maha Hosain Aziz talk about her new book FUTURE WORLD ORDER, in which she predicts the world will be defined by a unique global legitimacy crisis in the coming years. Norms in geopolitics, politics, economics and society will continue to be challenged, yet there will be no consensus. Future World Order has been called a "must-read" (Ian Bremmer, Kishore Mahbubani) written by a "global thinker to watch" (Nouriel Roubini). 15% of Dr Aziz’s book profits are going to her late brother's memorial fund, the Abid Aziz Fund, which supports charity Peace & Sport's Syrian refugee youth project in Jordan's Za'atari camp.

We usually meet on the first Monday of every month over cocktails (cash bar) at the The Churchill on the SECOND floor starting around 7:00 pm.

New members, recent grads and future students are always welcome!

So come meet new friends, network or just hang out at The Churchill, located at 45 East 28th Street, NYC 10016 between Madison and Park Avenue (6 train to 28th or N R train to 28th).
