Holiday Tea Party
December 8, 2007

A group 35 alumni and friends gathered at the beautiful home of Seth Weisberg for a traditional English tea and toasted the holidays and new year together. The party was complete with tea, scones, clotted cream and finger sandwiches, as well as a healthy dose of holiday cheer.

Pub Night at the Edison in Downtown
October 25, 2007

Our popular pub night resumed and took up residence at the Edison, a restored power plant in the nearly century-old Higgins Building, where we welcomed new transplants to LA and new volunteers who will be helping us plan chapter events going forward.

Bon Voyage Party for New LSE Students

Was hosted at the private residence of Her Britannic Majesty's Consul-General in Hancock Park, Los Angeles.


A Pub Night was held on June 14, 2007 at Ye Olde Kings Head in Santa Monica. We had a table reserved and a good time was had by all who attended.


A Conversation with LSE Professor Dr. Jenny Kuper
April 26, 2007

Dr Kuper, a Research Fellow in the LSE's Law Department and its Centre for the Study of Human Rights, gave a brief talk on her areas of expertise followed by a Q&A to a group of alumni at Seyfarth Shaw LLP law firm in Century City. This was a joint event organized by the LSE Foundation and the AFLSE Los Angeles Chapter.


LSE/USC alumni mixer at the Cat and Fiddle Pub
April 19, 2007

Twenty-five LSE alumni took over the patio at the Cat and Fiddle pub in Hollywood to catch up, reminisce about their days in London, and enjoy a few pints and some good pub grub. There were even a few celebrity sightings.

The Bon Voyage reception was co-hosted at the home of Her Majesty’s British Consul-General, Mr. Bob Peirce, to celebrate the incoming students to the London School of Economics. LSE alumni and friends, new students and parents were all welcome.
