Answers to some frequently asked questions.

If you do not see your question here, please email your question to us at: info@aflse.org

How do I login?
The Login is in the upper right hand corner of the homepage. This takes you to the login page. Your user name is the email address you gave the AFLSE when you became a member. Even if you do not have a password, please click on Login anyway. Then click on the ''Forgot your password'' link on the log-in page. We will mail a new password to the email address we have on file for you. (If after doing this it seems you did not receive the password email message, please be sure to check for your password in your "spam" or "bulk" mail folders. As it may have been sent there by the spam settings of your Internet provider.)

How do I receive discount subscriptions to journals?
We offer discount subscription rates for current members to The Economist, Foreign Policy, Financial Times, and Fortune for paid-up members only. Please look up instructions under Membership - Member Benefits on the main menu of the web site and follow instructions. We are sorry, for this offer it is not possible to phone nor e-mail a subscription renewal directly with the publisher.

How do I update my e-mail and mailing address?
Login (please see above) and access your information by clicking on the My Account link at the top of the page. You may also wish to email your new address to the LSE at alumni@lse.ac.uk.

How do I contact a fellow former student?
If you and your fellow former students are both paid-up members of AFLSE you can use the membership directory available on the pull down menu below Membership on the main menu of this website.

Otherwise, please visit the LSE's "Houghton Street Online" website for instructions. http://www.lse.ac.uk/

How do I verify that someone is an alumnus/a of the LSE?
A degree certificate details a student's full name, date of birth, student number, title and subject of course and class of degree or other award obtained. Detailed information can be found on the LSE website in the "How do I?" area of the site.

Requests for certificates should be emailed to registry@lse.ac.uk or faxed +44 (0)20 7955 6099.
