July also brings the return of the annual Bon Voyage garden party. Alumni are invited to meet with students en route to the LSE, and to share their experiences and give advice on living and studying in London. Students have the opportunity to meet and network with others who are also embarking on the same adventure in the fall. This event, held at the lovely home of one of our alumnae, has become one of the most popular on the DC Chapter calendar. The event will be held on Saturday, July 31st, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00pm and an advance online RSVP is required:

Finally, LSE Alumni Meredith Kruse is organizing the American Cancer Society's DetermiNation program for the Marine Corps Marathon on October 31, 2010.
