[AFLSE DC] Toast the UK Snap Election Tonight

Dear [first_name],

If we've learned one lesson over the past year, it's that political polls can be terribly wrong. So it's tough to predict how today's snap election in the UK will turn out, despite Labour's narrowing lead (you can read LSE Professor Charlie Beckett's take on today's election here).

That's why AFLSE DC is hosting a British university election night party tonight at James Hoban's Irish Bar in Dupont Circle. All alumni of British schools are welcome to join us from 5:00pm to watch the returns come in. Happy hour prices for food and drinks are on until 8:00pm, and you can order $9 craft cocktails after 8:00pm.

See you soon,

Lauren Maffeo
Chair, AFLSE DC
