Two Major Events for LSE Alums in Los Angeles
Dear Fellow Alums:
Our annual party for the incoming year of new LSE students from the So. Cal. area will take place Aug 21 from 5 -7pm at Ye Olde Kings Head. This is a "three line whip" event, as we say in the Old Country. Please attend so that you can share your wisdom with our new brothers and sisters. Tickets are available at aflse.org - see link below.
ALSO: We are organising a breakfast speaker event with California Senator Ben Allen. This event is being organized in conjunction with the British American Business Council of Los Angeles. Senator Allen has a British father, so he is interested in reaching out to his British-oriented constituents. We urge you to clear your diaries for October 25 at 7 - 930am for this breakfast meeting. It will take place at the Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica. Tickets will be available from Joanna@babcla.org. Mention you are with LSE and you will receive the membership discount for this event.
We urge you all to participate in these two fabulous occasions which will be worthy networking and community building opportunities.

As ever, your co-chairs would love to hear about any events you want included in an eblast - if you would like to arrange an informal drinks mixer at a watering hole in your neighborhood, please post it to the LA Chapter's facebook group and let us know at email@example.com, so that we can include the information in our next eblast.
