Canetti, Elie Ramond David (1984)
Elie received the one-year MSc in Economics in 1984. After studying at the LSE and confirming his interest in economics, Elie worked at the World Bank and then went on to graduate school at Princeton.
Following Princeton, Eliehad worked a short stint at the U.S. Treasury and then joined the IMF when they started ramping up after the dissolution of the Soviet Union which led to major expansion in their workload.
Since joining IMF, Elie has held a widevariety of jobs including membership of the Asian department through the Asian crisis of 1997-98. Currently, Elie is working in IMF's International Capital Markets department following the capital markets intensively.
