Takemi Ueno (1987)

Takemi studied International History at the LSE, obtaining a Master’s degree with distinction in 1988.

Takemi later obtained a M.Phil in Modern Western European History from Columbia in 1990 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1993. After law school, Takemi worked at the New York law firm Winthrop
Stimson/Pillsbury Winthrop.

Currently, Takemi works for the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, First Department, as a Principal Appellate Court Attorney.
