Bill King (1982)

After studying at the LSE, Bill served as the Reserve Air Attaché to Senegal and eventually back to London as a Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve.  While in the Reserve, he spent most of his time in Sub-Saharan Africa, with tours as the Defense Attaché to Chad and Assistant Air Attaché to Cote d’Ivoire.

Bill also practiced law for a couple years before becoming the Director for European Programs for the State of Washington where he worked on international trade promotion.  Currently, he’s responsible for coordinating Washington’s economic development activities in the aerospace arena.

Bill is currently president of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest, a chapter he help found in 1986.  He also serves as Vice Chair of the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance, a private sector trade association of aerospace suppliers.
