AFLSE New York City: New York Philharmonic in Central Park
Please join us for our annual evening picnic under the stars!
Note: If it rains at any point during the afternoon, the group will meet at The Dead Poet (West 82nd & Amsterdam), even if the concert itself is not cancelled.
Date: Wednesday, June 14th, 2023
Time: Concert begins at 8:00pm, but we need to arrive early to secure a good spot!
Location: The Great Lawn, Central Park, NYC
Meet us at 7:00pm at the Romeo and Juliet statue in front of the Delacorte Theater at the southwest corner of the Great Lawn (enter Central Park at West 81st Street & Central Park West or at East 79th & Fifth Avenue and walk towards the Great Lawn), or if you come earlier or later just look carefully for the 15 purple, black and gold balloons on the Great Lawn between softball fields 1 & 3 (see map below).
Additional Details:
The event is free, and as always, friends are welcome!
Bring food & beverages to share!
Join us for post-concert refreshmants at The Dead Poet!
Again, in the event of inclement weather earlier in the day, the group will convene directly at The Dead Poet instead, even if the concert goes on as scheduled. For updated information on the status of the concert, follow the link below.
