Hunger Relief in Colorado:  Making an Impact on Childhood Hunger

Sixteen percent of Colorado households with children report food hardship, an inability to afford adequate food.  Nearly 1 in 7 Colorado kids may not always know when or where they will get their next meal.

Please join us for a viewing of the documentary A Place at the Table, as well as a discussion with Heather Crandall, Community Engagement Coordinator, Cooking Matters Colorado.

 

 Cooking Matters Colorado helps parents and caregivers struggling with limited food budgets learn how to shop for and cook healthy, affordable meals. Since 1994, Cooking Matters Colorado has reached over 100,000 families with their nationally recognized food skills education.

 

 Drinks and light appetizers will be provided.
