    Beverley Jayne Simpson became Her Majesty's Consul General to Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico in November 2011. Prior to her arrival in Denver, Beverley served as Deputy Consul General in Erbil, Northern Iraq, and Deputy Consul General in Chongqing, South West China. She has been a member of the British Diplomatic Service for 22 years and been posted all over the world including Australia, the Caribbean, the Falkland Islands, Bosnia, India, and at the United Nations in New York.

    The United Kingdom and Colorado have a longstanding relationship that predates Colorado's statehood in 1876. Today, the UK is one of Colorado's most important international partners. It is one of the largest investors, and foreign providers of jobs, in Colorado. The UK is also a major market for goods and services produced by local companies. The role of the Consulate General is to strengthen and enhance the existing ties between the UK and Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. To do this, it develops and deepens its diplomatic ties throughout these states as well as maintains good relationships across political, economic, business, educational, academic and social fields.


    UK Trade & Investment is the Government organization that supports companies in the UK doing business internationally and overseas enterprises seeking to set up or expand in the UK. UK Trade & Investment offers services to: UK businesses that want to grow their business internationally; Overseas businesses that want to locate in the UK; and Overseas businesses that want to source UK goods.
