Colburn Community Chorale Concert

Date: Thursday - April 25th, 2013
Time: 8:00 PM
Location: Zipper Hall

Join conductor Dr. Steven Kronauer and members of the Colburn Community Chorale in a performance of The Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op. 52 by Johannes Brahms, and Five Hebrew Songs by Eric Whitacre.

Iwakawa Tomoko will be singing with the Colburn Community Choral at the following concert on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 8pm at the Zipper Hall.

The Liebeslieder Walzes by Brahms are beautiful love songs. The lyrics will stick to its original German, but you will be surprised at the
delicate intricacy between the lines that the men and women weave with each other.

Eric Whitacre is one of the most popular and performed contemporary composers today. The performance is also a love song about his wife
(then-girlfriend). The music incorporates contemporary sounds including phonetic voices, and will be sung in Hebrew.

If you are interested, please go online below to eventbrite. The ticket is only $15 (and free if under 15 years old), and the concert is in
downtown LA.
