AFLSE Seattle: Chapter Mixer with Special LSE Guest

The mixer will include special guest, Dr Ted Piepenbrock, fellow in the LSE Department of Management.
LSE alumni, recent grads, future students, and friends are all welcome.

Our LSE alumni group in Seattle will meet with Dr Piepenbrock on Friday, November 16th, 2012 at 6:00pm at Elephant and Castle in Seattle.

Dr Piepenbrock is a Fellow in the Department of Management who researches and teaches on postgraduate and executive education programmes at the intersection of strategy, organisation and innovation.

About Dr Theodore (Ted) Piepenbrock
Dr Piepenbrock is the Deputy Academic Dean of the Global Master's in Management programme, and was awarded an LSE Teaching Prize (2011/12). He received his MBA, MSc and PhD in Technology, Management and Policy from MIT, and a postgraduate engineering degree in nonlinear structural dynamics from the University of California at Berkeley.

Dr Piepenbrock was a Postdoctoral Associate at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and is a research affiliate with the MIT Center for Technology, Policy and Industrial Development, a Senior Research Associate of the Graduate Centre of Balliol College, Oxford, a Fellow of the International Institute for Strategic Leadership and an adjunct lecturer in post-graduate and Executive Education programmes at MIT Sloan, MIT Engineering Systems Division and the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School.

Dr Piepenbrock was an Associate Director of the international consultancy, Ove Arup & Partners, before joining McKinsey & Company. Throughout his career, he has worked in over twenty countries, lectured on management and design in many of the world's leading universities, and has appeared in various international television, radio and print news media.
