Washington, DC, Tuesday April 17th
AFLSE members have been invited to a reception hosted by Philip Barton, Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy featuring LSE Professor and current Pro-Director Stuart Corbridge. Professor Corbridge will update us on recent activities and developments at the LSE. The event will take place at the Deputy Head of Mission's residence in northwest D.C. Additional details and registration information (including cost of event) will be sent out in mid-March.
New York, NY, Thursday April 19th
Alumni Reception With Professor Craig Calhoun, LSE Director Designate. Professor Calhoun is a world-renowned social scientist whose work connects sociology to culture, communication, politics, philosophy and economics. He will take up his post at LSE in September. He is currently at New York University. Additional details and registration information (including cost of event) will be sent out in mid-March.
