The Ivy Plus Society (TIPS):
The Ivy Plus Society is offering you a respite from all the madness at new Asian fusion lounge Current. Cool aquatic themes. Sushi and saki bombs. It'll be enough to get your mind off the freakish snow storms that have had DC looking like a scene out of "The Day After Tomorrow." So come on: Forget about partisan bickering and 2012-handicapping long enough to swill some cocktails with your fellow young alumni!
Metromix gushes about Current, "If you’re a seasoned veteran of the D.C. club scene, chances are you dropped a few tears into your saketini last May when Dupont Circle’s Dragonfly closed its doors for renovations. Well you can finally dry your eyes and lay out your Saturday night best; the chic sushi bar/nightclub hybrid has returned to Connecticut Avenue, albeit under a new name and a fresh, ultramodern aquatic-inspired design."
Complimentary appetizers for the first 1.5 hours, so arrive early! Drink specials all night long.

• Once you register, your name will be added to the event guest list at the door. No physical ticket will be sent to you but PayPal will email you a receipt. Print the receipt or save it to your phone and bring it with you to the event as back-up in case there are any guest list/PayPal snafoos.
• If you buy tickets for guests, they should check-in as your +1s under your name at the door. We don’t need their names.
• Advance Registration will be open through noon on the day of the event (or until tickets sell-out; whichever comes first). After that, limited admission will be available at the door on a first-come-first served basis until venue capacity is reached.

• You and your guests must be 21 to attend & plan to drink responsibly. Catch the Metro, grab a cab, or designate a driver.
