AFLSE On-line Community Reaches Out through Facebook and LinkedIn

The AFLSE Technology Committee has developed a consistent and strong online community. AFLSE National has sites both at Facebook and LinkedIn. In addition we have created City Chapters on Facebook and professional Special Interest Group on Linkedin.

Facebook

We have decided to consolidate our City Chapter presence on Facebook because Facebook has the strongest franchise for our alumni social groups. There are over 25,000 people in the LSE network at Facebook.

We envisage that Facebook will help our outreach to alumni who are not familiar with our www.aflse.org website and activities. All of the AFLSE groups on Facebook are open without pre-approval or membership of AFLSE.

Additionally Facebook provides an informal location for AFLSE chapter leaders to communicate with members and for members to communicate with each other. If there is demand, we would be pleased to set up cohort groups for specific LSE class years, so let us know.
